IVE Engineering equipped me with core knowledge and professional skills that are essential for my career development. Thanks to those new facilities, such as Full Mission Shiphandling Simulator Centre and a series of well-organised practical workshops, I could adapt my seafaring life more easily. In addition, the lecturers in MSTI possesses rich experience in maritime industry. They always inspired and encouraged students with their own story and insight. MSTI also provided career assistance to enable students to understand various career opportunities in the industry, and provided career advice whenever we need. I am now a deck cadet in a shipping company, I still keep contact with IVE Engineering so that we could share the latest maritime industry development.
