Upon completing the Higher Diploma in Surveying offered by IVE, I have the opportunity not only to enroll in local universities' part-time Surveying Bachelor's programs or other overseas courses but also to participate in the joint part-time Bachelor's degree program offered by SHAPE in collaboration with UK universities. This articulation program can be completed in as little as 2 years, allowing students to enter the workforce sooner, gain practical experience, and dive into the industry ahead of schedule.
The programs provided by IVE and SHAPE have effectively equipped me with the professional knowledge in surveying and construction, laying a solid foundation for my future entry into the surveying industry. These programs are well-regarded in the industry, and graduates have the opportunity to apply to various surveying consultancy firms or main contractors according to their preferences.
Moreover, these programs are recognised by local universities, offering me the chance to pursue a Master's degree locally and obtain the qualification of a registered Quantity Surveyor in the local context, as well as membership in other professional associations.
