To stimulate VTC student learning interests towards STEM-related subjects, the IVE Engineering and VTC STEM Education Centre jointly organised the ‘VTC STEM Challenge Cup’ competition. Underlying the theme of this year, ‘STEM UP 創意 SMART UP 未來’, the competition attracted over 350 students, studying the Diploma of Foundation Studies and the Diploma of Vocational Education, to join.
Participants were encouraged to design innovative and practical solutions under four sub-themes: Construction Technology, Smart Mobility, AI & Robotics, and Smart Environment, to enhance the living quality in the wider community. Out of over 100 project submissions, the following projects were awarded as ‘Champion’ within their sub-theme. The finalists will then produce their prototypes to compete for the honour of ‘Overall Champion’.
