VTC Partners with Leading Industry Enterprises to Accelerate Hydrogen, Aviation, Energy Digital System and Robotics Education
Apr 2026

The Engineering Discipline of the Vocational Training Council (VTC) signed Memoranda of Understanding on 27 March 2026 with four pioneering technology enterprises from Zhuhai (in arbitrary order):

  • 珠海迅能拓科技有限公司
  • 珠海派诺科技股份有限公司
  • 珠海赛纳三维科技有限公司
  • 琴小翼飞机技术有限公司

This collaboration establishes a forward‑looking framework partnership across engineering, technology, and education. By integrating cutting‑edge technologies and the latest industry know-how into the Engineering Discipline’s programmes and training, the initiative will strengthen students’ practical learning experience and accelerate talent development in key engineering areas that support the innovation-led growth of Hong Kong and the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.

Key Areas of Collaboration with Industry Partners

  • Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance
Exploring joint education and training to enhance the professional competence of aviation‑related talent.
  • Energy and Digital Systems
Building talent and co‑developing projects in energy digitalisation, electrical safety devices, energy and carbon management systems, commercial and industrial energy storage, and charging infrastructure.
  • 3D Printing and Modelling
Supporting education and training in 3D printing, 3D data modeling, and reverse-engineering modelling.
  • Emerging Technologies
Driving education and hands-on projects in hydrogen energy, drones (UAVs), and robotics.

By partnering closely with industry, the Engineering Discipline keeps its curriculum aligned with the latest technologies shaping the field. Students will gain access to advanced equipment, work on projects that address current and future market needs, and develop practical, job-ready skills. This gives them a clear edge in coping with tomorrow’s engineering challenges.

The Engineering Discipline will continue strengthening industry partnerships, building its technological capabilities, and equipping students with future‑ready engineering competencies—nurturing a robust talent pool that supports the innovation‑led development in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
