VTC and HKFEMC Sign MoU to Jointly Nurture Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Talent

The Vocational Training Council (VTC) and the Hong Kong Federation of Electrical and Mechanical Contractors Limited (HKFEMC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signifying a collaborative effort to enhance the skills of professionals in the electrical and mechanical (E&M) engineering sector and jointly promote industry development.

The MoU Signing Ceremony was successfully held on June 3. Witnessed by Mr. Paul CHONG, Deputy Chairman of the VTC and Life President of the HKFEMC, Dr. Michael WANG, Deputy Executive Director of the VTC, and Mr. Emil YU, President of the HKFEMC, the MoU was signed by Dr Daniel YAN, Academic Director (Engineering) of VTC, and Ir Antonio CHAN, Chairman of the HKFEMC.

As the first initiative springing from this partnership, a short course titled "MiMEP Design, Planning and Implementation Essentials" has been launched. The course aims to provide a concise yet comprehensive knowledge of practical MiMEP applications, assisting learners in rapidly harnessing cutting-edge industry technologies and staying up to date with the latest industry evolutions.
