Students sharing after Industrial Attachment in CLPE

Eleven higher-diploma students majoring in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and electronic and communications engineering have satisfactorily completed their industry attachment programme at CLP Engineering (CLPE).

To recognise the students’ hard work, CLPE invited Ir Shiu Chi-yung, Deputy Academic Director (Engineering) of VTC, and other programme leaders to join the sharing session on 30 April 2014 at CLPE’s headquarters. All students shared their memorable experiences, including gains and hardships during their internship.

In the 2013-14 academic year, more than 400 companies offered more than 1,700 placements to IVE students. With the staunch support of industry partners, IVE will continue the IA-IBSP scheme in order to fulfil the mission of nurturing future engineers in Hong Kong.
