About 100 secondary school teachers and representatives from parent-teachers association attended a forum organised by IVE Engineering at the Royal Garden Hotel on 25 April 2015, learning about the prospects of the engineering profession and ways for helping teenagers in personal development.
The forum covered a wide range of topics. Connie Lam Tsui-wa, Human Resources Director of CLP Power, shared a lot of useful tips on launching career. Terence Chang Cheuk-cheung, a renowned educationist in town, shared his insight on effective communication with teenagers and ways to motivate them for striving excellence. IVE Engineering graduates also shared their personal stories, especially how they grew during their time at IVE, with the audience. It was a good occasion for participants to network and exchange views on nurturing future generations of Hong Kong.
