IVE Engineering Students win Third Division Prize in IoT Application Development at the Guangdong Provincial Skills Competition

Four students from the Higher Diploma in Computer and Electronic Engineering (HDCEE) programme — LAU Wing Yin, TAM King Yeung, NG Wai Fung, and HU Kwan Lam — achieved a Third Division Prize in the Internet of Things (IoT) Application Development category at the Guangdong Provincial Vocational College Students' Professional Skills Competition 2025-2026.

 

The competition was held from 10th to 12th March over three consecutive days, with more than 50 teams from higher education institutions across Guangdong province participating. Using the equipment provided by the organiser, contestants were required to develop an IoT application, demonstrating their technical skills in system integration, programming, and problem-solving.

 

The team's outstanding performance and dedication earned them this honour in a highly competitive provincial event. We congratulate the students on their achievement and wish them continued success in their future endeavours.
