IVE Engineering is proud to announce that our TWO student teams have achieved outstanding success at the "Young Professionals Exhibition and Competition 2026" (YPEC 2026) which was held on 19th July, 2026. The prestigious event was organized by the Younger Members Section of the Institution of Engineering and Technology Hong Kong (IET Hong Kong), where the IVE team proudly secured the 2nd Runner-Up position in the Sub-degree Section.

Winning Project: An Intelligent Human-Computer Interface Using Facial Expression Recognition Technology
Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer vision technology, this project developed an innovative non-contact human-computer interface. The system is specifically engineered to assist individuals with physical upper-limb limitations, enabling them to control the computer cursor with precision through facial expressions. This technology facilitates seamless, autonomous digital engagement, including essential daily activities such as web browsing.
