International Symposium on Advances in Technology Education (ISATE 2019)

Led by VTC Deputy Executive Director, Ir Dr Eric Liu, a total of 15 engineering discipline staff attended the 13th International Symposium on Advances in Technology Education (ISATE 2019) from 17 to 19 September 2019 in Shunan, Japan. On the theme of ‘Engineering Education for Sustainable Development in 21st Century’, ten papers from IVE Engineering, on various topics, were presented at this international platform. Dr Liu was invited to give a welcome address, while Mr Jonathan Lee, Deputy Academic Director (Engineering) of VTC delivered his plenary speech and Ir Peter Si, Project Manager of Engineering Discipline In-services Training Office conducted the institutional presentation during the symposium. The trip was fruitful, as staff leveraged the platform to deepen their relationship with overseas partners and explore future opportunities with new friends.
