Signing of MoU by Bravo Transport and VTC to enhance apprentice training
Nov 2021

An MoU was signed by Bravo Transport and the VTC to strengthen professional training for VTC Vocational Professional and Education Training (VPET) students who wish to pursue technical careers in public bus maintenance services. A training programme will be developed by the VTC to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of VTC VPET students regarding the servicing, repair, and maintenance of buses. Relevant facilities, training, information, and other support will be provided by Bravo Transport. The new training programme will be mandatory for apprentices recruited by the Citybus and NWFB Apprentice Training Scheme when it commences.

VTC students from the HD in Automotive Engineering and DVE in Automobile Technology will be able to enrol in the training modules as early as the 2023–2024 academic year, regardless of their employment status. This collaboration is expected to facilitate the professional development of young talents in the bus repair and maintenance industry, improving their technical competence while ensuring safety.
