On 27 November 2015, IVE Engineering had the honour of inviting Dr. John Lanham, Associate Dean, Faculty of Environment & Technology of the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol, to share their experiences to engage the youth.
Covering an overview of UWE’s engagement programme “BLOODHOUND project”, Dr Lanham had introduced the design of the car, UWE Bristol’s support, and their staff and students’ innovative contributions to the project. The BLOODHOUND project is a global Engineering adventure, using a 1000mph world land speed record attempt to inspire the next generation to enjoy, explore and get involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The seminar was inspirational and about 90 IVE Engineering staff and students enjoyed the sharing a lot.
